Nyonya Pie Tee Shells
SERVING SIZE: 1 434 bottle full
INGREDIENTS:
1 egg
1 cup rice flour (6 tbspns)
2 tablespoons all purpose flour
2 tablespoons corn flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup water
STEPS:
- Mix all ingredients.
- Sieve. Stir well from time to time.
- Heat up oil with medium fire till it's hot while having the cop emerged in the oil.
- Tap off excess oil from the cop and dip into the batter. Make sure the bottom has batter too.
- Turn fire to small (not the center small fire). Submerge cop with batter into the hot oil and carry up and down but do not remove the cop immediately. Wait till the shape has been formed and solidified before removing the cop.
- Carry up pie tee shell with a chopstick.
- Drain off on kitchen tissue.
- Store in air tight container.
