3-Ingredients No-Bake Oatmeal Bars

3-Ingredient No-Bake Oatmeal Bars

9 servings
Adapted recipe from Joanna Soh from Youtube

INGREDIENTS:
90g regular oat (I used Quaker instant oatmeal beta-glutan) 341cal
125g peanut butter 735 cal (I used self-made almond butter ~ 849cal)
82g honey 206 cal
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract 10 cal

*** It'd be lower in calories if peanut butter is used instead of almond butter. Since I made my own almond butter, I added some olive oil in it. So it causes the ingredients to increase in calories. When I key in the exact ingredients that I used with almond butter, it came out the calories count as 132 cal. That's why I wrote that on the picture. Surprisingly when I count each ingredient separately using the traditional method, it didn't come to that figure. =/ So I think better stick to 156 cal to be safe not to over-eat.

TOTAL: 1406 cal
Per serving: 1 piece = 156 cal

STEPS:
  1. Over medium heat, melt almond butter and honey till melted. Remove from heat.
  2. Add in Vanilla extract. Stir well.
  3. Add in oat. Mix well.
  4. Pour into a container (preferably square or rectangle for easy division later) and press to flatten surface with a spoon.
  5. Chill it in the fridge for an hour.
  6. Slice it into 9 portions.
  7. Store in fridge to keep it firm and it can last up to a week in the fridge.

Do not underestimate this oatmeal bar. It will make you feel full even with just one piece in the morning. Awesome recipe! So easy! What else are you seeking?
