Nyonya Pineapple Tarts

SERVING:
2 full baking trays
INGREDIENTS
250g Planta margerine
100g egg whites
400g all purpose flour
70g corn flour / tapioca flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons of air kapur (kapur powder + water mix up first)
STEPS
- Mix butter, salt and flour together with fingers till it becomes sandy texture.
- Mix in liquid ingredients.
- Start shaping pineapple tarts.
PINEAPPLE JAM
- Uses fresh pineapple. Include the center of the pineapple too. Blend with food processor. Discard part of the juice for quicker cooking. Include kayu manis while cooking. It has to be sweet.
