Sushi Rice
Adapted recipe from:
INGREDIENTS
2 cups sushi rice
2 cups water
4 tablespoons rice vinegar
3 tablespoons sugar (I used 4 teaspoons of brown sugar)
2 teaspoons salt (I used 1 teaspoon)
2 tablespoons mirin (I used grape wine)
STEPS
- Wash and rinse rice 3 times.
- Mix water into the rice. Steam rice with lunch box cooker.
- Mix up the rice vinegar, sugar, salt and grape wine. Pour into the rice and mix well.
- Put aside and ready to be used best at room temperature.
The original recipe's steps are quite confusing. So, this is my simplified version.
