Yam (Taro) Filling

Yam (Taro) Filling

INGREDIENTS 
1.1 kg yam (after peeled) 
100g purple sweet potato
350g sugar (I reduced to 200g sugar) 
180g cooking oil 

STEPS
  1. Remove yam and sweet potato skin. Cut into slices. Steam till soften. 
  2. Mash with food masher while warm. 
  3. Transfer to wok, cook sugar and oil together. 
  4. When it gets non-sticky, cool and store.
