Chicken Curry

INGREDIENTS
1 whole chicken (chopped to pieces) 
2-3 potatoes 

Blend ingredients:
Dried chilies 
Shallots
Onion 
Garlic
Turmeric
Lemongrass 

1/3 taufufa container Coconut milk (santan)
4 tablespoons Curry powder 
Salt 
2 teaspoons Tomyam paste
Gula Melaka

STEPS
  1. Blend the ingredients. 
  2. Stir fry (tumis) the blended ingredients with sufficient oil until fragrant/slightly dries up. 
  3. Add in Tomyam paste and curry powder. It'll form a thick paste.
  4. Put in chicken and potato. The chicken and potato will be coated. Cook for 10 minutes until chicken is 40% cooked.
  5. Add water. Cover with a lid. Let it cook until potatoes soften.
  6. Pour in santan and stir a while. 
  7. Add Gula Melaka and salt for seasoning. 
  8. Serve.
